Empathize-

Empathizing with my clients as a dog walker is important. The reason is that being understanding for dog walking, and why the clients may need a dog walker is important. Also, having a passion for dogs will make me enjoy the job better and also by having a better relationship with the dogs that I am walking. Engaging with the clients one and one to help better understand their wants and needs, and also understand how to create the best relationship with the dog that I can.

Define-

I am trying to define any of my clients needs for a dog walker. For example, a client could need a dog walker because the lack of time in their schedules to be able to attend to the dog as much as they should. By providing a dog walking business, I can empathize with my potential clients about what their needs and wants are. I need to provide the best dog walking system for potential clients where I can understand their wants and needs and hopefully provide a 24/7 service.

 

Ideate- 

Hopefully I will be able to provide a 24/7 dog walking business and be "on call" if needed, although I think that most of my hours would be scheduled. I will be able to provide the materials that  I could possibly need to contribute ex (leash, clean up tools, etc)

Yes, I personally think that design thinking can help launch a business. Design thinking helps solve problems by a solution-based approach. It is beneficial whenever it comes to opening a complex based business. Design thinking helps focus on people's needs and comes up with effective solutions to meet those needs, which is all helpful when opening a business.
